Classes we offer

HATHA YOGA

Hatha yoga is about balancing the body and mind. With ‘ha’ representing the esoteric sun, and ‘tha’ the moon, and the practice of Hatha yoga aiming to join, yoke, or balance these two energies. The practice starts with a gentle breathing practice, followed by sun salutations with gentle static yoga poses which are held for slightly longer. This practice helps to centre the body and build strength, improves flexibility and helps reduce stress. 

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by a flowing of postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath also commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. Beginning with breathing exercises this class flows through postures, helping to increase mobility and strength in your whole body in a mindful way.

POWER YOGA

Power yoga is a fitness based vinyasa style yoga. The qualities and benefits, including building internal heat, increased stamina, strength, and flexibility, as well as as reducing stress.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a very slow-paced style of yoga. Postures in this practice can be held from 2 minutes to 20 minutes. Our classes will generally hold postures for around 3 minutes. This type of yoga is very restorative on joints, it helps improve flexibility, calms and balances the mind and is good for relieving stress and anxiety.
